The historical and cultural heritage of a people are all those material and immaterial goods that they possess and which are important to their culture and history. Historical heritage is the place where national memory is made.

In this way, its conservation is the duty of all, because in this way we preserve the characteristics of a society and guarantee the survival of its cultural identity.

To preserve means to rid oneself of evil, to keep it free from corruption, danger or harm, to preserve and to defend. This is all preserving. We know that this attitude has many implications and is a task that a person just cannot do. Thus, it is the duty of all society to preserve its goods.

Alvorada Palace - Located in Brasilia, the Federal District is designated as the official residence of the President of the Federative Republic of Brazil. It is located on the shores of Lake Paranoá, having been the first building opened in Brasilia in June 1958.

The Alvorada is a marble-lined building sealed by glass curtains, which provides an integration between interior and exterior space. Already the famous columns rest on the floor by one of its vertices, apparently disappearing the idea of ​​weight.

The water mirror reflects the image of the building creating an infinite virtual space.

Fort St. Joseph - Rio de Janeiro (RJ)

Originally built in 1565, it was entirely renovated and equipped in 1872, by order of D. Pedro II, as a result of the episode known as the Christie Question. The Fort now had 17 pillboxes and a large ammunition stockpile, and was equipped with 15 75mm caliber Whitworth guns and 20 smaller caliber guns. It is located in Morro Cara de Cão, listed in 1973.
