Landlord
Landlords or Manorial Domains were one of the main features of the Feudal System that prevailed in Europe during much of the Middle Ages and especially in the 10th and 11th centuries. They consisted of domains belonging to one lord, to whom the king, in addition to lands, granted effective authority over all the inhabitants of those lands, namely the authority to do justice, collect taxes, and organize military defense.
